jay prabhu pamho agtsp nanmnam akari bahudha nija sarva saktis this is not what i just think but all the parampara sistem is agreed with what sri caitanya mahaprabhu said and srila prabhupada say when we forget sri krsna is material life so nama gane sada rucih as cc say is the best process i think does not matter the sock or shoe i see indradyumma swami to do a parikrama of govardana in the evening first day of karttika many years ago this means the utility is the principle as srila prabhupada say so i’m completely not agreed with this jay prabhu dandavat haribol

HARE KRISHNA HARE RAMA

Recently I visited radharaman.com The owner of the site,Chandan Gosvami is on a bit of a Crusade against Bhakti that he says is not sanctioned by Hari Bhakti Vilasa.He claims:

1.There are no rules for kirtan but there are rules for japa.

2.He claims that japa must be performed sitting without socks [what to speak of shoes]

3.Japa is forbidden while a passenger in a car or plane but one can chant OFF THE BEADS in the mood of Hanuman to his Lord Rama.

Of course this would put modern devotee in great difficulty because we are so used to WALKING JAPA and even WALKING JAPA with shoes and socks.I can see that ideally sockless sitting japa would be best but to forbid walking,car and plane japa would in my opinion put devotees in great dificulty.

I have asked several devotees this question because it has caused me great difficulty.So far the best answer has been that the final verse of Hari Bhakti Vilasa says that the sum and substance of all rules to to remember Lord Vishnu.The Rules are to remember Vishnu not Vishnu to remember the rules.What is your opinion.
